DICK AND JAWN

This evening's Vice Presidential Debate:
why I love VICE PRESIDENT Richard Cheney.
Later Update: Paraphrasing Michelle Malkin:
More about AP bias, and this time it includes AP bias about time itself; and, Edwards Yaps at Cheney's Heels.

I personally thought that Cheney ripped Edwards a new as*hole on both foreign and domestic. Edwards was fumbling left and right...referring to Kerry's name when he was asked not to do so...to referring to Iran by the name Iraq...to the moderator pointing out that Edwards didn't answer the Palestine question.
Gwen, the moderator, was fantastic.
Democrats keep rambling about the U.S. leaving the Tora Bora search to the Afghani Warlords. This isn't truthful. Two things...
1. Special Forces conducted joint operations with the Warlords in Tora Bora....we never left Tora Bora.
See: http://www.cnn.com/2001/WORLD/asiapcf/central/12/28/ret.us.special.forces/
2. We're not even sure Osama Bin Laden was in Tora Bora to begin with.
Edwards also tried to play the race card last night. I would have voted against Mandela as well with the given evidence...the vote he mentions was back in '86 when the Umkhonto we Sizwe was considered a front for the Soviets ambitions in Africa. This militant wing of the ANC was receiving aid and training from the USSR...if I rem correctly.
I really, really (as in, "really") agree with all that you write here...excellent comments shared!
I agree that there is a noticable race card being continually played by Edwards but generally always by Democrats. They emphasize race as a voter appeal factor, factionalizing persons to vote accordingly...when, in fact, THAT'S RACIST IN AND OF ITSELF. I also agree fully with what you express about Mendala, who is, literally, Communist in his ideals. He's made wretchedly shocking comments about President Bush, things that defy coming from anyone with any balance, truly shocking.
