WW-DAY: Part Six

Yesterday was "Wictory Wednesday."
A day late posting this today, due to Blogger's twenty-four-plus hour "network failure" yesterday. At least, that's what Blogger Support explained as being why "some users" were "not able" to contact Blogger (access the domain entirely, which was my experience) and use their Pyra publishing system -- which explains the past twenty-four-plus hours but not the previous year-plus as to similar delays, time outs and failed publishing grinds. Perhaps sites with blue navigational bars and certainly those in "other areas" had or have no problems; conjecture, yes, but worth considering.
Please note that my MovableType installation was successfully completed a week ago and thanks to display template helps from King of Fools, BIRD will be successfully migrated in publishing over to the MT program in the next few days, but pending that, the site is at the mercy of notoriously unreliable Blogger~Pyra, for whatever their long-lived probematic issues are and continue to be. As to the immensely valuable helps provided by King of Fools, he is a hero, a veritable MovableType whiz. Also a very nice person for helping so generously in time and effort.
WICTORY WEDNESDAY's message this week is to ask readers to join the Seventy-Two Hour Project. Blogger's problems reduced my efforts in participating in the Seventy-Two Hour Project by about two-thirds the Project's alloted time, but the point is, despite being prevented from voting by whomever, whatever, it is important to remain committed to voting and to continue to encourage everyone else to also be so committed to voting. Also, early voting is encouraged -- I have already mailed in my Absentee Ballot but anyone without that voting arrangement who wants to vote early can do so at http://www.georgewbush.com/VoteEarly.
PoliPundit provides more information about this Seventy-Two Hour Project.
The list of bloggers who participate in Wictory Wednesday is permanently displayed in BIRD in the left-hand column.
