TIDES

A new home, a new host -- this one installs a licensed copy of MovableType and includes ongoing updates throughout the lifetime of an account, depending upon what you purchase (and, in my case, I purchased a hosting plan and then included the MT install/updates as an add-on so I have much room to grow and flow and ebb into other areas, and plan to) -- and all in less than twenty-four hours.
Impressive.
Tides come, tides go but what is equally as interesting this day to me is that the liberal tide is rolling over liberal pretense. At least, some of it. Reading in the L. A. Weekly (via Drudge, because otherwise I wouldn't be reading the L. A. Weekly), that columnist Nikki Finke ("Arianna's Blog Blows") gets that the Adrianna Huffington Bog is the equivalent of soggy Post-Its is a high water mark. Never was a lifeguard more perceptive at the floundering off shore as Finke writes about what she surveys.
Wizbang has a deep-end thread about the slosh.
A beautiful tide is a thing of gratitude -- my glass is overflowing. No shoes, new tee-shirt, no problem.
