Website, here, Jim Gilchrist for Congress, to fill the 48th District (CA) Congressional seat vacated by Chris Cox, newly named to head the Securities and Exchange Commission by President Bush and recently sworn in.
I'll vote for I'll listen to what Gilchrist (has to say) if he runs for office and I hope that he does.
Later Edit: Not a guaranteed vote from me I didn't vote for Gilchrist but I do respect and commend Gilchrist and campaign for bringing the issues of border security and better control and reprimand of and about illegal immigration to the forefront. Best wishes to him and those he influences for improving -- if not correcting -- the Republican confusing if not ineffective response to these issues.

I received an e-mail from News Max about your decision to run for Congress. I am so pleased and sent a donation via internet. Thank you as I believe you are not doing this for any personal agenda. You heard the call and stepped up to the plate. I have never ever sent one dime to anyone running for public office because I just basically do not trust them, but I believe you are a man of integrity and are going to do your best to speak for the people of Calif. and America. Hi, Bettye Lemon...this site is an individual site and is not the campaign (or otherwise) site for Jim Gilchrist for Congress. While you have not sent to me your donation for Gilchrist -- which is good, because you should not nor should anyone -- your comments suggest to me that you think this might be the Jim Gilchrist for Congress website. Again, it is not, it is an individual site by me who is not related to the Jim Gilchrist for Congress campaign, nor with Jim Gilchrist in any way.
I just wrote, much as you also seem to believe, that I would vote for him if he runs for the Congressional seat here in CA.
May I suggest that you write to (and visit!) the official Jim Gilchrist for Congress campaign site and send them your compliments as written here?
