The film is scheduled to appear in theatres August 26, 2004 -- credits include: directed by Terry Gilliam (read GILLIAM ON GRIMM, [see "BREAKING NEWS"]), written by Ehren Kruger, starring Matt Damon as Wilhelm Grimm, Heath Ledger as Jacob Grimm, and featuring Peter Stormare as the monstrous and monstrously busy Cavaldi, Lena Headey as Angelika the rabbit-dooming trapper, Jonathan Pryce as corrupt General Delatombe and Monica Bellucci as the malevolent Twin Mirror Queen.
Excellent production qualities but not a film for the little ones. Whether to give more dollars to the Weinsteins -- who are executive producers of this film -- or not, that's the question...
