Picture 758.gif Despicable and treacherous:

"...The New York Times story of the covert spying program came out just as Senators were debating the future of the Patriot Act...

"...the reporter who broke the New York Times story, James Risen, is scheduled to have a book released soon and he's been quiet about what's contained in his in-depth story about the very same topic of NSA spying...

"...law enforcement officials believe that this case is not just about politicians or politically motivated intelligence officers leaking classified information to the news media to hurt a US President; they believe it's about treason on the part of the leaker and the reporter who tactically used the story to have an adverse impact on the outcome of the Senate vote for the Patriot Act. A more cynical motive for Risen may be simply the promotion of a book that may pay him handsomely..."

"Hillary Blasts..."

The ACLU libels. Again. And, again.

And, the L.A.Times drops copy, since what I believe they would write if they could write well: "investigation (may go) high into the CLINTON White House..." because, otherwise, they confuse "White House" and "Senate." Let's see, suspects Kerry, Kennedy, Schumer, Rockefeller, Durbin, Feinstein, Clinton...they're in the Senate.

Picture 758.gif It's the tawdry, old, cowardly media of treason. Emerging more forwardly lately and from most of the suspected sources, but it's not newly wrought nor investigative in any sense of discovery...it's decrepit mundacity. And the sooner there is accountability, the better.

Picture 758.gif Meanwhile, still new and perhaps the only conservative at the L.A. Times, Michael Ramirez offers his last work before departing:
