FROM THE REAL PEOPLE: CANDIDATE BLOGGING BOG

About the candidate John Edwards blogging-webmaster-now-demastered-blogger brouhaha that's overtaken, like all good brouhahas do, the internet recently -- special mention is made here of just to what extent DEMOCRATS (read, "Liberals") have been overtaken and boyhowdy, they certainly have -- I save a bit of time and direct readers to Ace of Spades' smart, efficient and to-the-real-people-point piece:

Fightin' Fightin' Nutroots Prepared To Slime Edwards If He Goes Through With Firing Their Buddies

In a nutroot, the Edwards campaign hired a blogmistress who has a published history on the internet of Christian-hatin' (among other offenses), with particular singe applied to and about Catholics. People -- a lot of them from all walks of life and faith (some Catholic, some not) -- complained. What followed was that the Edwards campaign demasterd the mistress, who is now a demastered netizen, although I'm sure she's still Christian-hatin' and bloggin' hate, probably now more than ever.

Now if only Ace was running for public office, that would pretty much solve the gateway-threshold issue as to the compromise that characterises candidate blogs: no double-speak, no blogmistress demastery, the real-people-have-spoken time, at least as to that one.
